Cobweb

“Welcome to my parlor!” said the spider to the fly. No, there are no spiders are in my knitting parlor, but there is some cobweb yarn available for the experienced hand knitter.  This yarn is 55% silk and 45% cotton with 500 yards per ounce – a true cobweb weight lace yarn. 

The strength and sheen of silk blended with the softness of cotton combine to create an elegant, yet comfortable yarn.  The color is Pearl White, and each skein weighs 3.5 ounces.  There are approximately 1,750 yards per skein. 

Recommended needle size single strand – hand knitters size 0000-2 USA needles or 1mm to 3mm needles.  Unless a machine knitter has a fine gauge machine, I do not recommend this yarn for machine knitting.
