This is a 6/2 fingering weight 100% Merino wool wound into 100 gram skeins - with 370 yards per skein.   Recommended needle size single strand - hand knitters size 2 (US) or 3.5 - 3.75mm, machine knitters tension 5 with 1 strand on a 4.5mm machine with approximately 6.5 - 7.5 stitches to the inch.

This sport weight 100% Merino wool is wound into 100 gram skeins - with 225 yards per skein.   Recommended needle size single strand - hand knitters size 2 (US) or 3.5 - 3.75mm, machine knitters tension 3 with 1 strand on a 6.5mm machine with approximately 6.5 - 7.5 stitches to the inch.

Magnifico Merino Sock Kit with a Touch of Silk

This kit contains one 100 gram skein of hand dyed 100% merino wool yarn and a small package of cultivated silk.  It was hand dyed as a companion yarn to the merino wool.  This can be used as reinforcing yarn for sock heels and toes.  It is a very high quality yarn spun from the finest "Super" grade silk and will add a touch of elegance to your socks.
